To achieve our Safety goals we adopted an HSSE Policy and established an HSSE Management System considering the safety issues as a line responsibility in our organisation and involving all personnel.

Other tools are used also to achieve our Safety Goals such as Risk Assessment Analyses and Emergency Response Plan before to start any project, Operations Procedures and Rules Manuals, continuous Training Program and use of appropriate PPE.

Our HSE management system and our Operations Procedures and rules manual is available and can be provided at Company request.

  • Lost Time Injury (LTI) : A fatality or lost workday case. The number of LTIs is the surn of fatalities and lost workday cases.
  • Restricted Workday Case ( RWDC) : Any work-related injury other than a fatality or lost work day case which results in a person being unfit for full performance of the regular job on any day after the occupational injury.
  • Fatality : A fatality is a death resulting from a work injury, regardless of the time intervening between injury and death.
  • Lost Time Injury Frequency (LTIF) : is the number of lost time injuries per million exposure hours worked during the period.
  • Total recordable incident rate (TRIR): The number of recordable incidents (fatalities + lost workday cases + restricted workday case) per 1.000.000 hours worked.
  • Severity Index (SI): Severity is calculated as the total Lost Workdays divided by the total of LTI cases, and represents average days away.
  • Fatal Accident Rate (FAR) : The number of company/contractor fatilities per 100.000.000 (100 millions) hours worked.
